Nivea Soft Review!

Aloha!

With all of this lovely summer weather I have noticed that my skin is a lot better, but I still want to take good care of it. I have quite sensitive skin, so I like to use really gentle products that won't irritate me. I think that Nivea is a really good brand for skin are because all of the things that I have tried, I have really liked and they have been good to my sensitive skin.

My skin can get quite dry at times, so I like to use a really nourishing moisturiser. The Nivea Soft moisturiser is perfect! Not only is it gentle and nourishing, but it isn't just a face moisturiser, oh no, you can use it on your hands and body too!

Nivea soft is available in a few sizes (I think they have a tube and a tub) and I have the 75ml tube. You get a really good product that lasts a long time, is multipurpose AND is cheap. I think I payed about £2 or £3 and I have had it for at least a couple of months.

I would totally recommend this moisturiser as it is excellent for even the driest of skin! (Don't hold me to  it though...). I don't know how good it is on oily skin as it contains jojoba oil, but if you have oily skin and have used it, let me know!

Thankyou soo much for reading!

Handy Must Haves!

Bonjour mis belle amis! (urr...)

So I'm going to jump right in and tell you of two products that I think you will need (kinda...)

First up is the Soap and Glory Hand Maid Gel. It is an anti-bacterial hand sanitizer, and I really think we all need these, especially as it is summer. I know that during the summer I am always out and about, travelling and am in constant contact with germs (sorry, but its true.). Now, I don't know about you, but germs are not in my good books, so I want to avoid them because I don't want to be ill over my summer. Hell No! So hand sanitizers are great because you can use them on the go (coz who has space for a sink in their handbag?). I love this one because it smells really nice. Most hand sanitizers smell really medically and cucumbery and I just don't like it.

Next up is the Soap and Glory Hand Food. This is a hand cream/lotion thing. I love this because it keeps my hands nice and moisturised because sometimes as the weather is quite dry, I find my hands can get a little dry too, so I like to feed them up with some hand cream so they stay nice and smooth and soft :)

Okay, so I think that's it from me. I hope you are having a lovely summer where ever you are.

Finally, A New Bronzer!

Hello there my drops of golden sun! (bonus points of you can comment which musical that line is from)

So you may know that I am on the search for a new bronzer. BUT, the search is over, as I have found a new one! (yay)

I picked up the Barry M Natural Dazzle Compact Matt Bronzing Powder (Phew...) and I really like it!
It does exactly what it says on the tin: it is a matt bronzer. Yup. Its pretty simple, but that's just how I like things to be. This gives me a lovely golden tanned glow, which it great as it is now summer (super yay!) I apply this around my hair line, down my nose and across my cheekbones for a bronzed finish, but I would also use it to contour as well.

So there we have it. A good matt bronzer that isn't too muddy or too orange, and it was only about £7, so that's a bargain in my eyes.

Thanks for sticking around,

Love you lots, byee xxx

MUA Shimmer Kisses Bronzer

Aloha!

So now that it is OFFICIALLY summer, I am really into bronzed skin. However, I am as pale as a glass of milk, so I need the help of some beauty products to get me that golden glow.

I'm all about bronzer, but for summer I like to stay away from looking matte, and go for a more glowy finish to my skin. I recently bought the MUA Shimmer Kisses Bronzer to help me look glowing, golden and gorgeous!

Now, by no means would I consider this a bronzer. It is very light and shimmery, so is the perfect highlight! I apply this along the tops of my cheek bones, under my brows and on my inner corners of my eyes, and it makes me look bright eyed (and bushy tailed). I really like this because it gives a really nice natural glow, but it just catches the light and looks really pretty. Plus, it was £3, so I couldn't not love it really!

Well that's all for now. I really like this product and I think you should get it :) Sadly, MUA isn't widely stocked, but you can get it from Superdrug here in the UK if that's any help.

Thanks once again, and goodbye xxx

My New Favourite Thing!

Hello x

Now, this isn't a beauty post, but maybe more of a lifestyle post? Maybe...

So last Thursday I went shopping with my lovely friend Katie and lets just say that my purse is feeling a little less than stellar (yeh...I'm broke) BUT it is for a good reason. I had a very successful trip and bought quite a lot (yay). One thing in particular stands out to me though....

Tadaa!!! Yes, it is a cat cushion. I think that everyone needs one of these in their life. Every time I look at it, I can't help but feel just a lot happier. Now, I am a cat person (I frikin love them!) but I'm sure there are novelty animal cushions for every taste, whether you love dogs, cats or even ducks (I don't judge). I got mine from Primark for £4 (I know, I know) so how could I possibly resist?!?

So this was something a little different from whati usually do, so let me know if you liked it :)

Thanks for reading, and until next time...

Bourjois Bronzer Review

Hello hunny :)

Now, the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer has been around for a little while, and I've had it for ages, but only now have I decided to give it a full review. As I have had this Bronzer for umm...ever(?) I feel that this review is going to be as good and honest as it gets.

Well...I don't really have too much to say about this product. I don't own a whole lot of Bourjois products, but I generally think that they are a good brand, and this Bronzer really let's them down.  I now, I know...a bad review? Yes. I want to be honest with you, because I just can't lie to you, I mean...look at that face...yeh. This Bronzer sucks. I really don't like it. I don't know if I just got a dud one or what, but it isn't up to my high Bourjois expectations.

The colour really isn't great. I think it comes in two colours, a lighter one (which I got) and a darker one (which I don't got). For me, it is just too orange and nothingy. Also, it says that it is filled with "glints of sunshine" which I presume means that it is glittery. However, there is a distinct lack of glitter in this seemingly matte Bronzer. Now, I did buy this Bronzer because it is matte, so that does get one point in my good books, but it says that it is glittery and it is not so it lied. Yup. The Bronzer lied.

Onto the consistency (I have no idea what else to call it...The powderyness?? Meh). I don't know why, but of some reason I find it very hard to get the Bronzer onto my face. No matter how much I swirl my brush in it, hardly any product is picked up which is a BIG problem.

So overall, I do not like this Bronzer. It isn't the best colour, and it just doesn't do it's job. I'm sorry for being such a negative nelly, but I'm just being honest. One positive thing about it is that it smells yummy (not like chocolate, but yummy all the same).

I hope this has been helpful and thankyou very much for reading.

Loveyouuuuuu bye xxx

If you want to keep up to date with all of my posts, then follow my blog!

Also, leave me a comment telling me how you are, and any good bronzers, coz I need a new one!

A Little MAC Haul...

Hey beautiful!

So last week I went shopping and just happened to pass the MAC store (weird how that happened...). Now, I like to consider myself a polite person, so of course I had to go in and see what they had (I know, I'm just too nice).

Well. Let's just say that they have a very nice selection of things in MAC that I could indeed purchase (I want it ALL) but I was restrained and only got 4 things (I'm like an angel sent from heaven...or something...)
Ok, so the first thing that caught my eye was All That Glitters eyeshadow. It is such a pretty colour, and it looks natural, but because it has a bit of shimmer, it adds a certain pizzazz. I also got a paintpot in Painterly which is a really natural base for eyeshadow, and makes it last al day long. For ages I've been wanting to get a MAC lipstick, as they seem to be some what of a staple in the world of beauty, so I got Faux which is a satin lipstick. It is a really nice nudey-plumy-pinky lipstick, and I really love it! Last, but not least, I got Girl Trouble naul polish. ERMEHGERD it is amazing. It is lilac, pearly, glittery and truely fabulous!

So I think thats it for today. As you can probably tell, I love everything that I got on this trip to MAC. But if you want me to go into more detail and do a full review of any of the products mentioned, just let me know in the comments :)

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and I hope you are having a lovely day.

Thanks, Byeeee xxx

Real Techniques Makeup Brushes!

Hello! and a happy Monday to you! (if there is such a thing...)

Ok, so by now I bet you know that I have a thing for makeup. AND...to apply makeup in a professional and totally fabulous way, makeup brushes are essential. Now I've looked at MAC and Sigma and Bobbi Brown and all of those brands, but the brushes are soo expensive! So while in BootsI headed over to the makeup brush section and low and behold...REAL TECHNIQUES BRUSHES!!! This is the line of makeup brushes developed by Sam Chapman, makeup artist and half of Pixiwoo. I saw these near the end of last year and wanted them ALL because they look great.

I am a VERY lucky girl indeed because as I am considering this field as a possible career, my parents are very understanding and lovely, so they bought me some brushes. It really has been wonderful using such great quality brushes to apply my makeup. They have synthetic hairs (means they aren't made from animal hairs...eww!) so they are really good for use with cream products aswell as ordinary powder products. I love that they are synthetic as I really don't like the idea of using goat hair on my face (sorry, but it's true).

I already had the Foundation brush, the Expert Face brush and the Shading brush which you can buy individually. I got the Starter set, which is the set of purple eye brushes. I got the Limited Edition Duo Fibre brushes and the Blush brush. Here is a link to the Real Techniques website, where you can see all of the brushes available and also where they are stocked (link is here)

These brushes are really really REALLY good, seriously. I am totally in love with them and they definatly satisfy my craving for makeup brushes. I would recommend these to you, and to anyone who wants fabulous makeup brushes!

I hope you have enjoyed this post, sorry there hasn't been one in a while, I've been really busy lately, but now I will blog till I can't blog no more!

Thanks again, bye xxx

MAC Eyeshadow Numero 1!

Hey hey hey!

I don't know about you, but I hear a lot about MAC eyeshadows. They seem to be a staple to lots of people's makeup collection. However, this one has NEVER been mentioned...and I don't know why.

A little while ago I took my first trip down to MAC. It was very exciting. VERY exciting. I wanted to buy an eyeshadow, and so I browsed through them (there is a LOT of 'em). I finally came to the conclusion that Mythology was the one for me, so I headed over to the checkout, payed my £12 and skipped home. (or got the train...but skipped sounds a lot more fun...and tiring..).

I really like this eyeshadow. I would say it is a copper/rose gold. It looks really pretty with blue eyes, bu t honestly, I think it would look good on everyone! It looks really pretty on its own, and looks equally gorgeous blended with other colours. It is a Lustre, so is quite shimmery/glittery, but I think thats a good thing.

Why Mythology isn't more popular will always remain a mystery to me...but I hope you love it as much as I do :)

Thanks for sticking around, love you byeeeeeeeeee xxx

Benefit the POREfessional!

Good morning! (or good evening for that matter)

So here we are again, another day, another post. Today I wanted to share the wonders of the Benifit Porefessional PRO balm with you!

This is a product that I have had for ages, we're talking like years. yeh. I don't know why, but I've only really recently gotten into it (not litterally, I know I'm short, but really?). I didn't ever really use a primer because I thought "I have kinda dry skin, I don't need a primer" but alas, I was wrong (that's a first!...well...) Even if you have the driest (dryest? naa, the first one looks better) skin, you can still find a primer that works for you. Primers are great because they even out your skin, making a really smooth base for the rest of your makeup. They are also great for oily skin, as they form a barrier between the skin and the makeup, so it won't smudge (don't hold me to that though). Also, if you have big pores, a primer can help as it gets into all of your pores and just sits there, which is good, as it means no nasty bacteria can fester there and give you a spot.

I really like this primer, it makes my skin feel super smooth, and my makeup definatly sits better, especially since my skin hasn't been fabulous recently (but its getting better, so yay!). I like this one because unlike some primers I've seen, it isn't really oily. Some primers can leave a weird oily weird thing residue behing on your hands, which I hate. I just feel all weird and myergh, you know? It also smells really good, so yeh.

So the verdict for the Benefit Porefessional Pro balm is...(drum roll please) I..........Love it! Litterally the only down side is that the bottle isn't the biggest (please sir, I want some more). It isn't the cheapest primer out there, but it really is lovely, so treat yourself. If you have a special occasion coming up like a prom, graduation or wedding, this could be the perfect thing to keep your face in place all night long!

So thats me done! hope you have enjoyed this, byebyebyebyebyebyebyebye! xxx

[p.s - don't forget to follow this blog and leave me a comment! thanks :) ]

New Rimmel Lipstick!

 Evenin' all (or Mornin' all)

So here we have a NEW LIPSTICK (yay) that I bought the other day. Now, I'm going to be totally honest. I......LOVEITOHMYGOSH. Yep.

So I picked up this Kate Moss Rimmel London lipstick in the shade 107 which is a beautiful dark purpley pinky redish colour (wow, I'm soo good at describing)

It is really beautiful. It goes on really nicely, and you could wear it lots of different ways, but I like to wear it as a full on lipstick, 'cause I'm classic like that. It has a matte finish, which I think makes this lipstick look really gorgeous.

To be honest, I don't have much more to say. I love it. I think you should love it too. It wasn't too expensive either at around £5 so go get one and we can all love this lipstick together (but not in a weird way, ok?)

Thats all for now sweetie, so until next time, byee xxx

Avon Super Shock Eyeliner Review

Hola Amigos!

I have heard wonders about the Avon Super Shock eyeliners. When I saw that they were including one as a freeby in Marie Clare, I thought 'I'm sure Maire Clare is a good magazine...who am I kidding, I WANT THAT EYELINER!'

When I got the eyeliner out, I was excited to use it. My excitement was not for no reason, this really is a good product. I think it is PERFECT for in the waterline. It is really soft, you barely need to apply any pressure to get good colour payoff. It is gentle, so would be suitable for sensitive eyes. I really like this and it is my new favourite black eyeliner. As for lasting power, I haven't tried anything better, but I'm more of a gel eyeliner kinda girl, so I haven't really tried many pencil eyeliners to compare this to. This eyeliner is really good, so if you are looking for a new eyeliner, or just want to give it a go, the best way to get hold of it would probably be through the Avon website (link is here)

Hope you have enjoyed this post and until next time goodbye cutie pie xxx

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer Review

Why hello there!

So I recently ran out of my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and went to Boots to get another one. However (and much to my horror) they didn't have any of my colour left (I use the lightest one 'cause I'm really pale). I could just feel my heart sinking, because I really like that concealer, and now I would have to look around for another one. So I headed on over to the Rimmel counter and the Wake Me Up concealer caught my eye. I have heard great things about the foundation, so I thought I would give the concealer. It was only like £4/£5 so not much more than the Collection concealer.

Oh my golly gosh! I really like it! At first I was unsure, because I really liked the Collection one, but this one is fab! The consistency is lighter, which I really love as it doesn't appear thick or cakey on the skin. Also, I have kinda dry skin, so I like the really liquidy texture because it doesn't look weird on dryer patches on my face. This concealer is also really nice under the eyes. Previously, I had been using a Revlon eye brightener under my eyes, but it didn't really make a huge difference. This really brightend up my complection and made me look much more wide aWAKE (see what I did there? subtle, I know)

I would recommend this and give it a great big thumbs up! However, if you want a heavier coverage or have a very oily skin, I don't think this is the concealer for you as it is lighter and glowy.

Hopefully this had been useful and more importantly, I hope you have enjoyed this post.

I love you lots like jelly tots! Bye xxx

Lipstick Drama!

Hey princess!

So this isn't a beauty post like usual, well it is beauty related...(yeah...not really)

Ok, today I had a little predicament and for some reason, it had a much bigger effect on me than I would have thought normal for me. The other day I was in Superdrug and was browsing the maybelline lipsticks (as ya do) and saw one I liked and thought 'next time I'm in town I will buy you and your matching lip liner'. If only life were that simple.

Today I went into Boots with that mission in mind, but when I got to the Maybelline counter and found the lipstick I thought I wanted, it turned out that I now WASN'T SURE. I faffed around for what must have been like 10 minutes, switching lipsticks, going back and forth. It was soo stressful! I don't even know why, I was just buying lipstick...or was I? Now I'm looking back on the situation with a greater knowledge and more life experiance (like 5 hours...) I'm thinking 'maybe my subconcious is replacing lipstick with important life things, and I was really deciding between that'.

Anyways, I headed to the checkout with my Rimmel Kate Moss 107 lipstick, paid, and went home. That walk to the car was also very stressful. Had I bought the right lipstick? Should I have gotten what I went there for?

So maybe I'm being ridiculous, getting so worried about lipstick. Maybe I'm just under a lot of pressure at the moment, or it could just be teenage hormones (pesky blighters). But sometimes it's the little things in life that make all the difference. So next time you feel like crying over the decision between chicken salad or ham and cheese, or jeans or leggings - it's ok. We all have moments where our world is crashing down around us, but we need those to balance out the moments where we are on top of our world (smiling and looking really gorgeous).

Maybe this was a really boring post, or maybe it was interesting - let me know! If you want to hear more about everyday little things, I would be happy to share. If we all share a little more of our problems, we can help someone with theirs.

Thank you for reading (I'm surprised you made it this far!)

Lots of love as always and goodbye  xxx

L'Oreal Color Riche Nail Polishes

Hey!

I think I kind of have a thing for nail polish...yeah...I just can't stop buying them and I never seem to have enough!

Sooo...In Boots the other day I saw these and I just didn't have the heart to leave them there, all on their lonesome (with all the other hundred bottles). I carried them away in my basket and took them home with me (I did pay first...).

I guess now I'll introduce you to my two newest members to the collection: Sky Fits Heaven and Sex On The Peach. First off I love the names, they are really cute - which is quite fitting considering the size of the bottles (they are dinky little fellas). I also love the packaging. They are small. So are easy to store and carry around, and the gold lid adds a little touch of class. I love the colours (which is why I bought them...) because they are fun and perfect for spring/summer (which is finally here!!!).

So on to the actual product. The consistency of the nail polish is perfect, it is really opaque so you only really need one coat. I applyed two coats of each, because I always do when I'm doing my nails, but the blue only needs one, but I prefer how the peach looks with two. So far I haven't experianced chipping and they didn't take too long to dry, so I'm a happy bunny!

Overall, I think these are great nail polishes. Although they aren't the largest bottles, I never seem to get through a big bottle without it going gross and icky. They are really reasonable, and I got mine on a 2 for £7 offer at Boots, but normally they are about £4/£5 each. I totally recommend the L'Oreal Color Riches (ooh!frenchy!) because they are tres Bon! (Yes, that was indeed French...be impressed)

So that's all for today. I really hope you have enjoyed this post, if you have- leave me a comment and follow my blog (it would make me reeeeaaaaally happy!)

Bye guys! Xxx

My Favourite Lipsticks

Hi there honey bear!

A HUGE trend this summer is bright lips, so I thought I would share a few of my fav's with some of my fav's (see what I did there, yeeaaah...).

Without further ado, let's jump in, the water's fine!
My first bright summer lipstick is this georgeous dark rose pink by Benefit. It is in the shade Nice Knickers (cheeky) and I love this lipstick! The colour is beautiful and the texture is really nice - it is pigmented but soft and shiney like a gloss, but not at all sticky. I love this lipstick and it is really comfortable and perfect for summer! The only downside to this lipstick is that it doesn't last a whole lotta time, so if you are out for the day, you will definatly need to pop this little fella in your bag so you can re-apply.

Next up is this lovely lip butter by Revlon. It is in the shade Candy Apple and is a pretty red. I like this red lipstick because it isn't too red, but is still red if that makes sense. I guess what I mean is that it isn't too matte and heavy, but is light and comfortable, whilst still being a red lipstick. It is pretty long lasting, but if you want to eat, you will need to bring this with you as it will rub off easily.

Thirdly we have this B-E-A-Utiful colour by NYC. It is in the shade Blue Rose and is such a wonderful colour. It is bright, so if you are a little shy when it comes to lipsticks, I would stay away from this one, but if you can't resist a burst of colour, then snap this one up! The name is very to the point in that it is a blue toned pink. I reckon this lipstick would look mighty fine on anyone, so I think you should get one. Also, it is a very reasonable price, so why not?

Lastly, we have this sneeky little number. I know, I know...Its not very bright, but it is lovely all the same. This is the Supreme Shine Lipstick in Barely Blush by 17 (or Seventeen, I think they've changed it now...) It is a pretty pink and is lovely for a more subtle look. The texture is really nice and I really like it!

Thats all for today everyone! I really hope you have enjoyed this post and until next time.....

Bravo Garnier!

Hello!

So, with one thing and another, I have been feeling a little stressed lately. To help, I wanted to treat my skin to a little lovin'.

As I was browsing through Tescos (exciting, I know) I was intrigued by some new Garnier products. I took a closer look, and thus decided I must have them.

I picked up the Garnier Soft Essentials Comforting Cleansing Lotion and the Soft Essentails Comforting Toner. Now, they say they and 'Enriched with Rose extract', but they don't smell like roses, which to me is a good thing because I hate the smell of rose flavored things, real roses are fine, but the artificial scent is nasty. I really like these products. Even though I haven't had them very long, I would consider re-purchasing. I would recommend them, but they do say they are for dry skin, so if you have oily skin, BACK AWAY! The toner leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed and the cleanser removes my makeup well BUT (and we all saw that coming, right?) it doesn't remove waterproof mascara well. Because the eye area is so delicate, I didn't want to aggrivate it. So here comes the third bottle. I also picked up the Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing 2 in 1 Make-up Remover. I really like this, but personally will only use it to remove eye makeup. Because it has an oil in it (thats why it seperates into two colours. Science that is) it is great for removing waterproof makeup, but would be too oily on the rest of the skin.

I really like these, and I am impressed by Garnier as of late. They have brought out some really nice products, and they are quite inexpensive. I thought Garnier was mainly a brand for more mature women (oldies) but it is great for young skin too!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and leave me a comment and follow my blog!

Thanks and bye for now folks!

My New Obsession

Hey there sweet thang,

So lately I've been kinda obsessed with something, and I thought you might like to hop on the band wagon!

Ok, so my skin generally isn't too bad, but when it is, the first thing I will look for is a face mask. Whatever kind it is, they always make my skin feel like a baby's butt (which is a good thing, honest!). However, recently, I've been feeling a little stressed (understatement of the EVER). So...to help with this I thought to myself 'What you need is a little pampering!'(for some reason, I am picturing one of the old lady faires from sleeping beauty...), and next thing I knew, I was slathering gunk all over my face and it felt goooood.

I don't think that a lot of money should be spent on something that you literally wash down the sink. To solve this dilema, I headed on down to Superdrug and got some face masks. I really like the Superdrug ones because they have loads to choose from, and they are only 99p each! There is often a special offer, like 4 for 3, so I stocked up and this is what I got:

I generally don't look at what they do, because to be honest, they all make my skin feel better and clear it up a lot. For me, each sachet will do 2 or 3 masks, so it really is a bargain!

I don't know if other drugstores stock anything similar, but I wouldn't be suprised if they did. So go on, treat yourself! The beginning of summer is a stressful time, with exams and holidays to plan, we could all do with a bit of pampering.

So there you have it, my latest obsession. I hope you have enjoyed this post and if you have, why not leave me a comment and follow my blog! I don't have a regular schedule for when I post, but when I have something that may interest someone, I go ahead and post it!

I think I actually love you...kidding, but you sure are great!

My everyday Simple Makeup

Good day to you my little buttercup!

I thought I'd try something a little different for this post. I'm going to share with you my makeup look that I wear most days. It is very simple and requires little skill or effort (which is great for me as I am NOT a morning person).

And yes, here it is! Alas, my secrets are not so secret anymore (but I trust you, so promise me you won't tell!) I generally don't wear foundation if I don't have to, and luckily at the moment my skin is being kind to me, so I can get away with just wearing concealer. I use two different concealers, one for blemishes and the like, and one for under my eyes (coz I'm just soo extravagant like that!) I like to use a brush to blend my concealer in. I don't know why I use such a big brush, but I guess the bigger the better (thats what she said).

As for the eyes, a cream eyeshadow is great because they are super quick and easy to apply, plus they set, don't crease and look FAB! Of course I wear mascara, because for me, my makeup just isn't done until my lashes are coated in black gunk (just saying it how it is brother!).

I do like to fill my brows in just a bit, because I can definatly say that they are sisters and not twins (if you catch my drift). For my lips I apply lip balm and then whatever colour I feel like wearing that day. I like this overall look, and it can easily be changed up by wearing a bright lip, or a darker eyeshadow.

I hope this has been helpful, and why not give it a go! (its dead easy, honest!) Of course you can substitute in whatever products, these are just what I have and I like to use them.

Thanks again, and until next time, have a LOVELY day

Spring/Summer Nail Favourites

Hello there my little puddle ducks!

So, spring has finally sprung apon us (urr...) and summer is fast aproaching (I hope). And as winter has gone, so have those dark nail polishes (unless you always like black....)! Here are a few of my favourite nail polishes for this time of the year!

You may notice that there are a few pastel colours (well done you) and that is because I love me some pastels, and also, pastels are always a trend for spring/summer. They are light and cute, and to be honest, thats all I want in a nail polish.

I also have a white and nude nail polishes. I use these to do french nails (and I'm getting pretty good, even if I do say so myself). French nails are perfect for work or school or if you just don't like having bright nails. They look clean and polished, and are perfect all year round.

Lastly, I have a bright orange nail polish. I got this colour recently and I LOVE IT! It is bright and fun and perfect for the warmer weather. I think brights are definatly a trend, and neon nails are also pretty cool, so go get yourself some bright nail polishes, because even if the weather isn't bright, you nails definatly will be! I also have a bright pink, and I think that hot pinks are always gorgeous.

Well I think we're done here. Hope you enjoyed, and now you can go treat your nails to a little bit of lovin' with some cute colours!

Thanks, love you, byebyebyebyebyebyebyeeeeeee x

Beauty Products WORTH the Hype

Why howdy there partner!

Now, I'm sure you hear a lot about various beauty products that are suppost to be amazing and will totally change your life. I know for definate, that some of those tales are indeed LIES, ALL LIES! Buuut... some of these products are totally worth the hype, and I'm going to share a few with you (it can be our little secret!)

I guess I'll start with my favourite product first. Yes, yes, it is the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I got it for Christmas (Santa loves me) and I LOVE it. I'm pretty sure I've used it nearly every day since I got it. The colours are lovely and would work on all skin tones. I really love it because it is just the perfect neutrals palette. Because there are warmer tones, it looks really fab on blue and green eyes, so personally I would recommend the Naked 2 palette to people with beautiful brown eyes.

Next is something that I also got for Christmas (Santa really did love me that year...guess I was really good). I recieved three Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butters. I had heard so much about these and was thusly (I know) expecting a lot from these Lip Butters.
I have really loved them, especially Peach Parfait. It is just a lovely colour. The texture of these lip products is really nice. They are the perfect mix of a lip balm and a lipstick. They have great pigmentation and colour payoff so I'm really pleased!

I also really love the Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner. I love it so much that I actually have two (cheeky, I know). I got the black one first, and have really liked it. It is so easy to create so many different looks with it, and it lasts really well, even on my oily eyelids (eww, I know). I got the brown aswell, and really love it. Its just a little softer than the black, but still adds definition to the eyes.

I have previously talked about the Maybelline The Rocket mascara, but its still true to say that I love it. Its FAB! (for more about this product, check out my post on mascaras)

Last, but certainly not least (I've been clever here, bonus points if you get it). The Collction (no 2000 anymore...) Lasting Perfection Concealer. I have heard that this is the best concealer, and as its only a drugstore product, I thought I'd pick one up. HOLY COW it is good, plus, it was under £5, which gets a thumbs up from me. It is a very good concealer. If you have a nasty spot that wants to be on show to the whole world, don't worry, this will cover it up, and you will be back to your usual beautiful self.

Well looks like thats all from me for now. I hope this has been useful, so now you can save up your pennies and buy some really worthwile products. Thanks for reading (?) and we shall have to do this again soon.

Love you BYEEEEEE xxx

Summer Make-up Essentials

Aloha!

Well well, looks like summer finally decided to show up. I love summer, especially for beauty stuff, because its all about looking bright and healthy, and after the horrible winter we've had, I think I need a bit of summer in my life.

So here are my Summer make-up essentials:

For the warmer months, I definatly think less is more. You don't want to be wondering around on a humid day with a full face of makeup with half of it dripping down your summer dress (or do you?).

BB creams are great for a light coverage, to even out your skin tone. If you need a bit more coverage, then pop on a bit of concealer, just where you need it.

I would recommend a powder, just so that you don't look too shiny (wet faces aren't always considered the most attractive, sorry!)

I like to apply a bit of bronzer, because I'm so pale, but with a bit of luck I will have a healthy glow about me for a while (until Christmas? hmm, maybe not...)

Cream eyeshadows are great for humid weather because I find that they don't crease and will last all day long, so we can make the most of the long bright days (no rain England, please!) For me, waterproof mascara is always an essential, or else I end up with panda eyes (which just don't suit me).

Finally, BRIGHT LIPS! Yes, bright lips are ALWAYS a summer trend, whether you like a classic red, or a fun neon pink, bright lips are here to stay (think I sold it enough?) Personally, I like to keep the texture light, so a gloss or lip butter, just because they are more comfortable, but matt lipsticks are generally very long lasting.

Well, looks like that is it for me. I hope you can make the most of the lovely weather, and we shall have to meet up again soon.

Love ya! BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE xxxxx

(Don't forget to leave me a comment, as long as it isn't rude (yes, I'm lookin' at you) )

Ahh Exams!

Ahoy there sailor!

*sigh*...it's that time of the year again. Yes, exams are here. I don't know about you, but these times are pretty stressful, so this post is all about how to be prepared.

I'm taking my GCSE exams, but whatever exam(s) you are taking, you will probably need the same basic stuff. Now, I know there arer some exams like PE or Art that don't really require a black pen and a compass, but for the academic subjects that we have to do, here are a few things I think you will need:

It may seem like a lot, but it is so good to have spares, you know, just in case someone steals your pen or something...(I don't know).

I am taking 4 black biros. This way I have spares a plenty and because they are biros they won't smudge all over my amazing A* worthy exam (I wish).

3 pencils should do you just fine. With these you can make little notes on your paper and you may need one for graphs or something.

Next a ruler, rubber, pencil sharpener combo. For drawing straight lines, measuring, erasing, sharpening...whatever you please.

I think that these highlighters will come in mighty handy in an exam. Especially English and History. This way I can pick out key bits and bobs of information. Exam tip: highlight the key words in a question, that way, you know exactly what you need to put to get top marks!

These two little items may not have crossed your mind when packing your exam pencil case, but if you need one, you will thank yourself later (with a big hug). If you have a headache or other kind of pain (boo) during an exam, you can't just go down to the nurse. You are stuck in that room for the next (insert length of exam here) and there is no escape. Often, when writing essays, your fingers can get a bit sore, so plasters are useful to prevent blisters (because they are really gross).

These are the basics you will need to take into an exam. For science an maths calculator papers, take a calculator along to make those adding ups quicker! And for maths take a maths kit to measure the heck out of those angles and to bisect those lines till there's no tomorrow!

Lastly, to be fully prepared, make sure you have done plenty of revision. I know it's boring, but that way you will know everything that could come up. Make sure you have lots of rest, eat well, and remember all the hard work you have put in over the past few years. It can seem really pointless, but that's just the stress talking. Exams are worth doing, as they prove just how wonderful you are!

If you are really feeling the stress and pressure that exams bring, try not to worry too much. Everyone will be feeling exactly the same as you. People deal with stress in different ways, so while you might be pulling your hair out, your friend may look as cool as a cucumber, but on the inside, they may be like a racoon in a sweet shop (make of that what you will). Also, your teachers are not only there to teach you stuff (yawn), but they are there to help and support you too (honest!) Go find a teacher you like and trust, and they should be able to help you. They will be used to stressed students fretting about exams, so I'm sure they can give you lots of great advise (don't hold me to this though)

I truly wish you the best of luck. Just remember to take a deep breath and have confidence in yourself (and imagine me cheering you on). You'll do just fine I'm sure :)

With all my love and luck, and until next time, byebyeeee xxxxxxxx

Well good day to you all, and to all, good day!

Recently, I have been hearing a lot about the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquers (try saying that three times fast!) Although its a bit of a mouthful to say, they have been hugely hyped up. I have heard that they are as good as similar high-end products, and as I'm a nosey little bee, I thought I'd see what all the buzz was about (see what I did there).

So I moseyed on down to Boots, and had a little look at the selection. To be honest, there didn't seem to be a huge colour range. There is 8 colours, but to me they all looked pretty similar. Mostly bright pinks and reds, but I did find a lovely peachy colour. I have looked online, and the colours that are shown up on the Boots website don't look too much like the actual colours, so if you are interested, then I would advise you go to your local Rimmel counter.

After having a brief look at the colours, I picked up two, Stellar (a bright redish pink) and Luna (a peachy colour) At a price £5.99, I thought that was pretty reasonable, considering how wonderful I have heard they are.

I have worn both colours, and think that the Apocalips Lip Lacquer's are worth the hype. They are comfortable like a gloss, but have the pigment of a lipstick. This prodict is litterally like a melted down lipstick. The clour pay-off is amazing for a lipgloss. I really like LUNA, Its such a pretty colour, and I think it would look good on all skin tones. I do like STELLAR, but on me its just a bit too bright. I like bright lips, but because i'm so pale it just washes me out. The only thing I would be warey about when applying is the amount of product you use. the wand has a little dip in it, so it carried lots of product, but I would say just use a little to begin with, and then you can build it up for a brighter colour.

I would highly recommend this lip product, cause its really good! I hope you have found this useful and if you have any questions or want to chat, just leave me a comment!

Thanks for reading, LOVEYOUBYEEEEEEEEEE xxx

Just a little review...

Hello my little sweet peas!

Today I thought I would do a small review of some mascaras that have been tried and tested by the best (me tehe). I have always loved mascara, well ever since I started wearing makeup, and because I'm not Honey-BooBoo, it was more like in my teen years. Over the years i have tried lots of mascaras, and haven't really found anything that I LOVE. I have liked some of them, but have then wanted to try something different, to see if I can get something better.

Now, I really like Benefit as a brand. Their makeup is fun, but is also really good. I heard that the 'They're Real' mascara was really good, so I handed over my £18.50 and got me one. I think this is one of the best mascaras out there. It gave my lashes real volume and length, but it wasn't clumpy. The formula was light and quite liquid, so it really worked on my lashes. It stayed well on my lashes, it didn't break down, however, I did find that it transferred after a bit of wear. Keeping in mind that I have oily eye-lids (sounds gross, I know...), mascaras don't often last well on me. This one really did and I have loved it. Is it worth the money? maybe. I think its for you to decide. It is one of those things that I really wish I loved it more, but I just don't. Its really REALLY good, but not perfect. I would totally reccomend this mascara as it is rather fab!

Second, we have this bad boy.

Next, we have the Collection (used to be Collection 2000, hmm, what ever happened to the 2000?) 'Big Fake Ultimate false lash effect' mascara. Because it is a drugstore mascara and it was only £5.99, I wasn't expecting too much from this product, but I had heard that it was really good, so i was looking forward to trying it. The first thing i noticed about this mascara was the size of the wand. OH MY GOLLY GOSH it is big (that's what she said). This mascara does indeed give you very full volumous lashes. BUT (I think we all saw that coming) it just didn't last on me. After a few hours wear I had panda eyes, which to be honest, only looks cute on a panda. I was really dissapointed after hearing such great things about this product, but I guess its just one of those things, eh? If you have dry eyelids (is that a thing? basically not oily eyelids) this may well be the mascara for you, but from my own experience with it, I would not reccomend it to you.

The third and final mascara I'm reviewing is my favourite. I have definatly saved the best till last.
Ker-pow! yes, it is the Maybelline 'The Rocket volum' express' waterproof mascara. I opted to get the waterproof formula, as I seem to have trouble keeping mascara on my lashes and off my face. This mascara is honestly the best I have ever tried. My lashes look full and long and just great. Its not clumpy and it lasts. Removing this mascara isn't bad either, considering most waterproof mascaras seem to be makeup remover proof aswell, it comes off easily. I am mightely impressed with you Maybelline! This mascara does exactly what it says and more! (well, not much more, but its really good - yay!) I am now happy, and at peace because I now have a good mascara. As you can probably tell, I would definatly recommend it. At only £7.99, it is a real bargin - GO GET ONE NOW!

Thats all for today, I hope you have found this useful. Until next time, BYEEEEEEE xxxxx

-I have not been sponsered by any brands to review their products (darn) so all of my opinions are true, trust me!-
